DESCRIPTION: \n\n"God is our refuge and strength\, a very present help in trouble"-Psalms 46:1\n\nDear All\,\n\nAs we all are aware\, the recent floods have caused extensive damage to our Kerala State. It is our responsibility to pray to God for the deliverance of our people and our state from this great disaster. The death toll in increasing\, and the help offered is limited in many areas. Let's pray for a speedy rescue in the affected areas. A special prayer meeting is arranged tomorrow\, Friday\, 17 August at 5.00 PM at our St. Philips Anglican Church Parish hall\, to pray for all those who are affected by this unexpected disaster. Although\, this is arranged on short notice\, please try to make every effort to attend the prayer meeting. If it is not possible to attend the prayer meeting\, please continue to uphold all the victims and the support networks in your prayers. As per our Metropolitan's kalpana\, the offertory on Sunday (19 August) will be set apart for this cause.
